CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 94-34
RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
REGARDING THE VACATION OF HICKORY DRIVE
WHEREAS, it has been proposed to vacate that portion of Hickory Drive
located on Lot 5, Block 1 Grier Industrial Park; and
WHEREAS, such proposal vacation is at the motion of the city and without
benefit of a petition from a majority of the land owners abutting Hickory Drive.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Medina, Minnesota as follows:
1. A public hearing shall be held before the city council on July 5, 1994 at
7 : 30 p.m. in the council chambers at city hall to consider the
vacation of Hickory Drive.
2. The clerk -treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to cause two
weeks' published and posted notice of the public hearing.
3. The clerk -treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to send mailed
notice to all property owners affected by the vacation at least 10 days
prior to the hearing.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Ann Thies
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
John Ferris, James Johnson, Thies, Philip Zietlow and Mayor Theis
and the following voted against same:
None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
