HomeMy Public PortalAbout1994-034Member Anne Theis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 94-34 RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE VACATION OF HICKORY DRIVE WHEREAS, it has been proposed to vacate that portion of Hickory Drive located on Lot 5, Block 1 Grier Industrial Park; and WHEREAS, such proposal vacation is at the motion of the city and without benefit of a petition from a majority of the land owners abutting Hickory Drive. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota as follows: 1. A public hearing shall be held before the city council on July 5, 1994 at 7 : 30 p.m. in the council chambers at city hall to consider the vacation of Hickory Drive. 2. The clerk -treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to cause two weeks' published and posted notice of the public hearing. 3. The clerk -treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to send mailed notice to all property owners affected by the vacation at least 10 days prior to the hearing. Dated: June 7, 1994. Anne E.
