A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF RIVERDALE
TO DISPOSE OF AN AIR COMPRESSOR
WHEREAS, The City of Riverdale, Iowa ("Riverdale") owns an air compressor that is
approximately twenty years old that was once utilized by the Riverdale Fire Department, which
has been replaced and is no longer in use; and
WHEREAS, Riverdale has received offers to purchase the air compressor, but due to the
age and current state of the air compressor, a significant liability risk is associated with the sale
or donation of the air compressor to third parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Riverdale City Clerk is authorized to
arrange for the appropriate disposal of the air compressor at a local landfill, recycling or other
disposal entity.
