AUTHOmZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR
T &M ASSOCIATES - 2009 GREEN ACRES l\HJLTI-P ARK
IMPROVEMENTS LITTLE PARK AND CARTERET
PARK SOLDillRS AND SAILORS MONUMENT W ALKW A Y
SURVEY AND ENGINEERING SERVICES
\VHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional engineering
services with regard to the 2009 Green Acres Multi-Park Improvements Little
Park and Carteret Park Soldiers and Sailors Monument Walkway Survey and
Engineering Services; and
\VIIEREAS, the Borough's Consulting Engineer for the project, T&M
Associates, possesses the requisite skill and expertise to provide said services; and
WHEREAS, Donald J. Norbut, P.E., C.M.E. ofT&M Associates has submitted a
proposal to provide said engineering services at a total cost not to exceed
$37,500.00; and
'VHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposal;
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that thnds are or will be
available for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough ofCarteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
l. TIle proposal from Douald J. Norbut, P.E., C.M.E. of T&M
Associates for professional engineering services with regard to the
2009 Green Acres Multi-Parks Improvements Survey and
Engineering Services at a total cost not to exceed $37,500.00, at
the hourly rate set forth in T & M's existing contract with the
Borough is hereby approved.
2. Annexed herdo is a copy of said proposal.
3. This action is approved as an award of a professional services
contract pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:1l-5(1)(a) in accordance with
the Borough's Fair and Open Process as authorized by law.
