A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE
EXPENDITURE OF TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS, ($2,000)
TO SPONSOR OPA-LOCKA 12TH ANNUAL "HOLIDAY IN
THE VILLAGE TOY GIVE-AWAY", TO BE HELD
DECEMBER 21, 2013, PAYABLE FROM ACCOUNT
NUMBER 79-579402, PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION
OF RECITAL; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to sponsor the 12th Annual
"Holiday in the Village Toy Give-Away"to be held on December 21,2013; and
WHEREAS, the 12th Annual "Holiday in the Village Toy Give-Away" is to assist the children
who may not otherwise be able to experience holiday joy; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to sponsor this worthwhile event, and authorizes the
expenditure of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00)toward the event for the toy give-away, the City's 12th
Annual"Holiday in the Village Toy Give-Away".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby authorizes the
expenditures of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) for the 12th Annual"Holiday in the Village Toy Give-
Away"event to be held on December 21, 2013,payable from Account Number 79-579402.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 1311"day of November, 2013.
