NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Council of the Borough of Carleret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows: 1. The proposal from CfvlE Associates for professional surveying and engineering services with regard to Lot 1, Block 242, located in the Borough ofCarteret, at a total cost not to exceed $11,800.00 is hereby approved. 2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services contract pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:II-5(1)(a) awarded pursuant to the Borough's Fair and Open process as authorized by law. 3. A copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's Purchasing Department and CME Associates. Adopted this 4th day of March, 2010 and certified as a true copy of the original on March 5, 2010. Preparation of a Land Survey in accordance with the State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors Administrative Rules and Regulations 13:40-5,1 "Preparation of Land Surveys". Services include: Review Title Binder; Field traverse, locate visible surface improvements on the property In question and within 5-feet on the adjoining Lots; Field survey data reduction, boundary analysis and survey calculations; Provide six (6), sealed copies of survey. Any additional fees required to address the problem shall be agreed upon in wfltlng prior to continuing with the survey. Exceptions: I I ., ( ! . Survey will not be prepared as per NJDEP Green Acres Standards. . Any land surveying services beyond the scope outlined above will be considered extra. Said fees will be based on the hourly rate or a fixed fee mutually agreed upon In writing. . The fees on the hourly rate schedule are subject to change by January 1 of every year.
