BOARD OF SELECTMEN
Meeting Date: May 4, 2009

MINUTES
Board of Selectmen members present: Brian Herr, Chairman; Mary Pratt, Vice-Chairwoman; Michael
Shepard; Matt Zettek; RJ Dourney
Others Present: Clayton Carlisle, Interim Town Manager; Geri Holland, Executive Assistant
6:00 p.m. Mr. Herr opened the meeting and stated the purpose of the meeting is to review administrative
issues in preparation of the Annual Town Meeting scheduled at 7:00 p.m.
Annual Town Meeting Street Acceptance
The Board reviewed correspondence from DPW Director, Mr. Gaucher, which stated the developer, Toll
Brothers, has met their commitment to complete the punch list to repair Overlook Drive and Summit Way.
Mr. Gaucher stated in his letter that he inspected both roads on April 28, 2009 and noted that all items have
been repaired, as required by the DPW, and recommended that these streets be presented for acceptance at
the Annual Town Meeting.
Vote: Mr. Dourney motioned that the Board of Selectmen recommend that Overlook Drive and Summit Way
be accepted as public ways at the Annual Town Meeting Second Mr. Zettek. The votes follow: Mr. Herr: yes;
Mrs. Pratt: yes; Mr. Shepard: no; Mr. Zettek: yes; Mr. Dourney: yes. So voted.
Move into Executive Session
6:15 p.m. Vote: Mr. Herr entertained a motion to move into executive session for the purpose to discuss
contract negotiations and then to move back into public session to attend the Annual Town Meeting. Second
Mr. Shepard. The roll call votes follow: Mr. Herr: yes; Mrs. Pratt: yes; Mr. Shepard: yes; Mr. Zettek: yes;
Mr. Dourney: yes. Unanimously voted.
6:50 p.m. The Board adjourned this portion of the meeting and moved into the Middle School Auditorium to
attend the Annual Town Meeting.
Meeting Adjourned:
11:00 p.m. The Town Meeting was adjourned to Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the Middle School
Auditorium.
