A RESOLU'rYON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AIJ'I`f30RIZYNG PURCHASE OF' PROPER,TY NECESSARY
F'OR T"HE WIDENING AND IMPROVEMENT OF LONG BEACH BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, the City Coixncil of the City of Lynwood has determined
that the wider~ing and improvement of Long Beach Boulevard from the
r~orth~sty to the southerly boundaries of the City ia necessary for the con-
v~er~ienc~v w~llf'are, and safety of the public, and
WHEREAS., it has been determined that the best intereste of the City
sha1Y be se~rved by the acquisition of property necessary for said widening,
arnd
WH~;R.~L~S, the City has appropriated certain funds for this acquisition
and dF~,>~l~oprn~nt, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received an Environmental Impact
St~tern~n~ on the Long Beach Boulevard Project and have determined that
no sigr~ificant enviror~mental impact wili occur in the completion of this
project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FiESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
'I"HE CYT'Y OF LYNWOOD AS FOLIAWS:
Sectror~ le The following described property is necessary for the
widE:~ir~~ of Long Beach Boulevard:
Ti~e westerYy 4 feet of Lot 223, Tract No. 2551, as shown on
rnap filed in Book 24, pages 78, 79 and 80, of Maps, in the
off'ice of the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles.
Section 2a That the purchase price for the above described property
lr.as beer~ r~~gotiated with Carolyn J, Bulmer in the amount of $150, 00,
Sect~on 3o That the City Council authorize and direct City Staff to
take wha~ever steps necessary to accept this property in accordance
w~th th~ terrns and cornditions as set forth above.
