RESOLUTION NO. 74-28
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE CONDEMNATION OF CER-
TAIN REAI~ PROPERTY IN THE COUNTY OF
LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORI~TiA AND
DECLARING THE PUL.LIC NECESSITY THEREFOR
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood is authorized by virtue of the Statutes
of the State of California to take property by condemnation and to hold, use
and enjoy said property as necessary to the full exercise of its power,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood here-
by does resolve as follows:
SECTION l. The City Council of the City of Lynwood has found
and determined and does hereby find and determine that the public interest
and necessity require for public use the acquisition, construction, com-
pletion, operation and maintenance by said City of Lynwood of certain pub-
lic improvements, to wit; an easement for street right of way purposes,
and that certain real property situated in the City of Lynwood, County of
Los Angeles, State of California, is necessary therefor.
SECTION 2. The real property, the acquisition of which is re-
quired for the public interest and necessity for the usesand purposes set
forth in Section 1 hereof, is situated in the City of Lynwood, County of
Los Angeles, State of California, and is more particularly described as
follows;
Parcel 4-1'7e (Long Beach Boulevard)
Lots 322, 323, 324, 325 and 326, of Tract No. 2551, in the City
of Lynwood, in the County of Los Angeles, State of California,
as per map recorded in book 24, pages 78, 79 and 80 of Maps,
in the office of the County Recorder of said County.
Parcel 4-19e (Long Beach Boulevard)
Lots 319, 320 and the Northerly 10 feet of Lot 318 of Tract
255.1, in the City of Lynwood, in the County of Los Angeles,
State of California, as per map recorded in Book 24, Pages
78 to 80 of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said
County.

Parcel 4-200 (Long Beach Bou.levard)
Lot 317 and the South 15 feet of Lot 318 of Tract No. 2551,
in the City of Lynwood, in the County of Los Angeles,
State of California, as per map recorded in Book 24,
Pages 78 to 80 inclusive of Maps, in the office of' the
County Recorder of said County.
Parcel 4-220 (Long Beach Boulevard)
Lot 31.5 of Tract No. 2551, in the City of Lynwood, County
of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded
in Book 24, Pages 78 to 80 inclusive of map, in the Office
of the County Recorder of said County.
Parcel 4-23e (Long Beach Boulevard)
Lot 314 of Tract No. 2551, in the City of Lynwood, in
the County of Los Angeles, State of Cali~ornia, as per
map recorded in Book 24, Pages 78, 79 and 80 of Maps,
in the Office of the County Recorder of said County.
Parcel 4-24: (Long Beach Boulevard)
Lot 313 of Tract No. 2551, in the City of Lynwood, in
the County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per
map recorded in Book 24, Page 78 et sec. , of Maps,
in the Office of the County Recorder of said County.
SECTION 3. Said public improvement is planned and located in the
manner which will be most compatible with the greatest public good and the
least private injury.
SECTION 4. The law firm of CAYER 3r JOHNSON INC. , Attorneys
for the City of Lynwood, is hereby directed to bring an action in the Superior
Court of the State of California in the name of the City of Lynwood, to con-
demn for eminent domain proceedings the property described in Section 2
hereof. Said Attorneys are authorized and instructed to make application
to said Court for an Order fixing the amount of security by way of money
deposits as said Court may direct and for an Order permitting the City of
Lynwood to take possession and use of said real. property for the uses and
purposes herein described.
SECTION 5. For the purposes of bringing such an action, the
firm of CAYER 3z JOHNSON INC. ,~ s hereby empowered to incur, in ihe
name of the City of Lynwood, all obligations and expenses incidental thereto.
