RESOLUTION NO. 74-32
A RESOLUTION OF TH~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING THE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT
CREATING THE SOUTHEASTERN REGIONAL
COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY
WFiEREAS, the Lynwood City Council has reviewed the Joint Powers
agreement creating the Southeastern Regional Community Action Agency; and
WHEREAS, the Lynwood City Council has determined that it is to the
mutual benefit of the municipal and county jurisdictions within the Compton
Health District of which Lynwood is a part and in the best public interest that
said parties join together to establish an agency to create social and economic
opportunitities for citizens residing within said Health District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE LYNWOOD CITY
COUNCIL does hereby authorize the Mayor on behalf of the City of Lynwood
to execute the Joint Powers Agreement creating the Southeastern Regional
Community Action Agency.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED THIS 7th day of May, 1974.
