AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF PROPERTY NECESSARY
FOR 'I"HE WIDENING 1~NIJTMPROVEMENT OF LONG BEACH BOULEVARD
WH~REAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has deternined
that the wid~r~ing and improvement of Long Beach Boulevard from the
norther?y to the southerly bound~ries of the City is necessary for the con-
ver~ier~E~e, weiiare, and safety of ~he publie, and
WHEREAS„ it has been determined that th~ best interests of the City
sha.;~. be ~ex°~Ed by the acquisition of property necESSary for said widening
and
WHEREASy th~ City has approgriated certain funds for this acquisition
arild d~v~la~,ment, aryd
WHEREAS, the City Couneil has receiv~d an Environmental Impact
Statemer.t ~r t~Le Long Beach Boulev~rd Project and have determined that
no sign~ficar~t ~nviranrner~tal impact wiTl occur in the completion of this
project~
NOW, T`HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
