WHEREASD tR.e CYty of L~ynwood (kne~°~inaft~~° refe~°red to as Agency) is a
contracting agenc,y of the Pu1~Yic Employeeso Retirement System; and
WHEREAS, ~~ae P~xl~lic Employees° Re~,ix°ement Law requires tY~at a
contracting agency d~termine w~etl~e~° an employee of srnch ageney in employment
in which he is cl~.ssifred as a loc~l safety membex° is disabled for purposes of the

WHEREAS, an appiication for disab~Yity retix°ement of John RA McConnaughey
employed by the Agency in tl~e position of Police Officer has been filed with the
Public Employe~s° Reti~°ement System; and
