RESOLUTION NO. 2018-12-08
SUMMARIZING REVENUES AND EXPENDITURES FOR EACH FUND AND
ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR THE TOWN OF FRASER, COLORADO
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2019
WHEREAS, The Board of Trustees of the Town of Fraser has appointed the Town Manager
to prepare and submit a proposed budget to said governing body at the proper time;
and
WHEREAS, the Town Manager has submitted a proposed budget to said governing body
for its consideration; and
WHEREAS, upon due notice published in accordance with Colorado Statutes, the budget
was available at the Fraser Town Hall and public hearings were held on Nov. 7; Nov. 28,
December 5, 2018 giving interested taxpayers the opportunity to file or register any objections to
said budget; and
WHEREAS, the proposed budget remains in balance, as required by law.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of The Town of Fraser,
Colorado that:
SECTION 1. Revenues for each fund are set as follows:
General Fund 6,981,948
Restricted Revenue Fund 639,406
Conservation Trust Fund 13,371
Capital Equipment Replacement Fund 643,437
Capital Asset Fund 1,731,578
CROS Fund (a Special Revenue Fund) 250,000
Debt Service Fund 35,328
Water Fund 1,671,526
Wastewater Fund 4,737,240
Joint Facilities Fund -O&M 1,105,718
Joint Facilities Fund -CRR 7,665,000
SECTION 2. Expenditures for each fund are estimated as follows:
General Fund 6,942,957
Restricted Revenue Fund 625,000
Conservation Trust Fund 0
Capital Equipment Replacement Fund 333,000
Capital Asset Fund 1,500,000
CROS Fund (a Special Revenue Fund) 250,000
Debt Service Fund 0
Water Fund 1,665,055
Wastewater Fund 4,283,570
Joint Facilities Fund -O&M 902,680
Joint Facilities Fund -CRR 6,150,000
SECTION 3. Any and all year-end fund balances shall be considered an Unassigned
Fund Balance increase and therefore part of the 2019 fiscal year spending, within the
meaning of article X, section 20(2)(e) of the Colorado Constitution.
The Budget, as submitted, and herein above submitted by fund, hereby is adopted and
approved as the Budget for the Town of Fraser for the fiscal year 2019.
Said Budget is hereby approved and made part of the public records of the Town.
