The City Council of the City of Lynwood does here~by r~solve as follows:
Lynwood City Ordinar~ce No, 848 estabYisl~es a procedrxr~ for th~ creation
of Underground Utilfty Districts and reqafres a~ tlhe ir~iti~T step in sueh procedure,
the holding of a public hearing to ascertafn whether p~xbYfc nec~ssity, heaYth,
safety, or welfare requires the removal of poles, ov~rhead wires, ar~d associated
overhead structures and the ~xnderground instalYation of wires and facilities for
supplying electric, communication, or similar or ~ssociated servic~ in any such
distriet; and
It has ~been recommended that sueh arn Undex~grounc~ UtiYity Distrfet, herein
after called Distrfet, be formed on the fu1T road easEment width ~f Long Beach
Boulevard from the north property line of Century Boul~vard to the north property
line of Imperial Highway,
