CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 94-62
RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
TO THOMAS LUNDELL FOR A THIRD ACCESSORY
BUILDING
WHEREAS, Thomas Lundell (Applicant) has requested permission to construct
a third accessory structure on his property located at 2892 Trappers Trail; and
WHEREAS, the City's zoning ordinance requires a conditional use permit to
locate a third accessory building on residential property; and
WHEREAS, this matter was reviewed by the Planning Commission on August
9, 1994 and by the City Council on September 6, 1994; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that construction of a third
accessory building on the subject property would not interfere with the development
of adjacent property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Medina, Minnesota, that a conditional use permit be granted to the applicant for the
above purpose, subject to the following conditions:
1. The size of the new accessory building shall not exceed 30 feet by 36
feet;
2. The Applicant shall not use the building to house animals;
3. The new accessory building shall be painted a color similar to that of
the house and shall be maintained in good repair and condition;
4. The Applicant shall not use the accessory building as a dwelling; and

5. The Applicant shall pay the City a fee in the amount determined by the
staff to represent the actual cost of the City of reviewing this
application.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
John Ferris and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Ferris, Zietlow and Mayor Anne Theis
and the following voted against same: none
and the following were absent: James Johnson and Ann Thies
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
