A RESOLUTION OF THE INCORPORATED CITY OF LYNWOOD
FIXING THE RATES OF TAXES, AND LEVYING TAXES FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1974, AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1975
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That for the purpose of taxation, all of that territory and
lands lying and being in the corporate limits of the City of Lynwood, Califc~x°ciia,
prior to February 1, 1970, shall constltute the taxing area subject to the pro-
visions of this R:esolution.
Section 2. That the amount of money necessary to be raised by taxation
upon the taxable property within the corporate limits of the City of Lynwaod,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, to provide for carrying on the various
functions of municipal government in said City for the Fiscal Year beginning
July 1, 1974, and ending June 30, 1975, is hereby fixed at the sum of Six Hundred
Eighty-nine Thousand, Five Hundred Ninety-Four ~7allars an~l Seventy-one Cents.
($689, 594. 71).
Section 3. That in addition to the amount of money necessary to be
raised as aforesaid, the amount of money necessary to be raised by taxation
upon the taxable property within the corporate limits of said City to provide for
the payment to the State Employees' R.etirement System, authority for the exe-
cution of said contract as granted by Ordinance No, 426, adopted by a vote of the
qualified electors of the City of Lynwood the 16th day of April, 1946, for the Fiscal
Year beginning July 1, 1974 and ending June 30, 1975, is hereby fixed at the
sum of Two Hundred Fifty-Three Thousand, One Hundred Fortg~-Two Dollars
and Thirty-Six Cents ($253, 142.36).
Section 4. That for the purpose of raising the sum of money necessary
to be raised by taxation upon the taxable property within the City limits of said
City of Lynwood as the revenue to carry on the functions of the various departmeriis

to the County Auditor-Controller of Loa Angelee County a certified copy of this
