A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING TO ASCERTAIN
WHETHER A NUISANCE IS BEING MAINTAINED
ON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTYa
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Lynwood
has recommended that this City Council find th~ a cer-
tain premises within the City of Lynwood may be maintained
in such a way as to constitute a nuisance; and,
WHEREAS, certain procedures are s~t forth in
Chapter 21 of the City Code of the City of Lynwood,
pursuant to which nuisances may be abated,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1~ Based upon the aforesaid recommendation of the
City Manager, this Council hereby finds and determines
that the following described property may be presently
being mairrtained in such a manner as to constitute a nussance.
Said property is described as portions of Lots 236 and 237,
Tract 7984 and is generally known as 11352_~irginia Avenu~~
Lynwood, Californiae
2o The conditions of said property which may
constitute a nuisance are described as follows: Tall weeds,
trash and debris.
3~ The method or methods by which said conditions
could be abated include: Complete clearing of lot and removal
of all weeds, trash and debriso '
4~ This Council therefore declares its intention
to conduct a public hearing pursuant to Chapter 21 of the
City Code of the City of Lynwood to ascertain whether the
above-described conditions constitute a public nuisan~e,
the abatement of which is appropriate under the police
power of the City of Lynwoodm
5~ The City Clerk is authorized and directed to fix
the time and place for said public hearing and to serve and
post certified copies of this Resolution in the manner set
forth in Section 21-18 of the Lynwood City Code.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Lynwood held on the 15th day pf
October, 1974~
