FUNlliNG FROM GI~NI~~RAL I'UND FOR SUCH PURPOSJ~S
WI~;RL:AS, subsequent to initiating a self-insured workrrlen's compensation
irisurance progr~ain, the Lynwood City Council hereby establishes an irisurance
claim trust fund which shall be an independent fiscal and accounting entity; and
WFIFR~AS, the sole purpose of creating said fund is to facilitate direct
payment of employee insux~ance claims;
WIIERF~AS, the Insurance Claim 'Prust Funcl will be an accounting entity
accorded a self-balancing set of accounts for insurance claims recording cash
and/or other resources with all related liabilities, obligations, reserves and
equities segregated for the aforementioned purpose;
WIILRI:AS, the City Council hereby authorizes the advance of appropriate
funding from the General Fund to the Insurance Claim 'Trust l~ und.
