RESOLUTION NO. 74-106
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING"FOR DISPOSITION OF FUNDS
FOR EMPLOYEES WHO ACT AS DEPUTY REGISTRARS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS;
WHEREAS, the Lynwood City Council desires to provide improved voter
registration services to the City of Lynwood, and
WHEREAS, Fire Department's throughout the County are generally authorized
forthis purpose, and
WHEREAS, the Los Angeles County Registrar has offered to train Fire
Department person~ael as Deputy Registrars of voters.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
os Lynwood, California, does hereby resolve that fees earned by persons
employed by the City who have been deputized by the County of Los Angeles to
register voters for and on their behalf, be paid directly to t~e City of Lynwood.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED THIS 19th day of November
