RESOLUZ`ION 74-113
A RESOLUTION OF" THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CYT'Y ON" LYNWOOD RELATING TO THE RELINQUISH-
MENT OF A PORTFON OF` WRIGHT ROAD
WHEREAS, th? County of Los Angeles and the State of
CaYifornia h~ve h~retofor~ enter~d imto a F'reeway Agreement on January 2,
1957, for constructioca ot th~ Long BPaeh (Route 7) Freeway and alterations
to eertain County roads, one such road being a portion of Wright Road; and
WH~REASa the City of Lynwood has since annexed an area
of land which ineludes said Wr^5bh1; R~ad; ae~d
WHEREAS, thr City of Lyr~wood and the State of California have
heretofore entered into ~ F"reeway Agreement on February 17, 1950, a
SupplementaT Freew~y Agreement on Ju~y 18, 1955, and a Superseding
Freeway Agreement or~ Juty 9, 1970, thereby affecting portions of Wright
Road; a~ncl
WHEREA~n the rfght-o~-w~v ~r~d other local facilities on a portion
of Wright Roacl are to be re~inquished to the City as shown on the attached
prints lab~led Prop~sed Reflinquishment REL 962, Sheets 1 and 2, and made
a part hereofa
NOW9 THER~;P"OREn the C."ity Council of the City of Lynwood does
resolve as folYowso
SECTION lo "~l~e City Couneil hereby concurs in and approves the
expeditfou~ reYinq~:~shm~r~t of the area set forth hereinabove, it being under-
stood that aY~ work h~s beEn voa~npletedo
SECTION 2o The City waives the 90-day notice of intention to
relinquish as set forth in Section 73 of the Streets and Highways Code.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of
this resolution,
