CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 94-66 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR IMPROVEMENT OF MEDINA ROAD WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of Medina Road between Tamarack Drive and Co. Rd. 24, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to the law and the bids summarized on Exhibit A attached hereto were found to comply with the advertisement; and WHEREAS, it appears that Hardrives, Inc. of Plymouth, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Medina, Minnesota as follows: 1. The mayor and clerk -treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Hardrives, Inc. of Plymouth, Minnesota in the name of the city of Medina for the improvement of Medina Road from Tamarack Drive to Co. Rd. 24 according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the city council and on file in the office of the clerk -treasurer. The amount of said contract is two hundred eight thousand one hundred and no/100 dollars ($208,100). 2. This constitutes notice of intent by the city of Medina to reimburse itself in the future from bond proceeds for this improvement. 3. The clerk -treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except the deposits of the successful RHB77247 ME230-167 bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until the contract has been signed. Al 1EST: son, ler Treasurer Anne . eis, ayor ti The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Ann Thies and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: John Ferris, Johnson, Thies and Mayor Anne Theis and the following voted against same: none and the following were absent: Philip Zietlow Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
