CITY OF LYNWOOD CERTIFYYNG THAT INPU'T F3AS
BEEN RECEIVED INTO THE DECISiON MAKYNG
PROCESS OF HOUSING AND COMMUN3TY DEVELOPMENT
ACT OF 1974e
WHEREAS, the Ciky Council of the City of L,yr~wood has initiated
action to acquire funds from the Department of Housing and Communit,y
Development; and
WHEREAS- sai+~ fun~s wi1P be agYo~ated to tl~e C'ity as iblock graa~ts
from the Housing and Commuxnity Development Act of 1974; and
WHEREASa the C1ty Council has appointed a Housirig and Comanunity
Development Advaso~y Board to revie~r pot~mtial programs to be irscluded
in the development plara; az~d
WHEREASD sald "Board" has reviewed the results of a citizen survey
in making their reeommendations; arac~
WHEREAS, said survey has beeaa distr~k~uted to tt~e citizens of the
commurrity to voice theix° oplmioans ora the priori~y of projects to be implemented
within the development plana
NOW, THEREFORE9 BE IT RESOLZTED, that the City Council of the
City of Lynwood herby certifles that citizen pa~ticipation has been an intrinsic
part of the development plan arnd a cross section of the citizens of this
commu~ity have had input into the recomrrdendations a~nd development of this
plan and px°ogramo
