AUTHORIZING UEZ ADMINISTRATION BUDGET FOR FY20n
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret, an Urban Community, participates with the State
of New Jersey in the UEZ Program which utilizes 1 % of the 3 Y2% sales tax in the
administration of this program; and
\VHEREAS, the administration budget anticipated UEZ assistance in the amount of
$120,447.00 has been submitted to the goveming body of the Borough of Carteret for
review; and
WHEREAS, the funds shall be used to subsidize the administrative cosls of the UEZ
Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carterel hereby approves submission of said UEZ budget for the FY 20 II.
