STATEMENT OF PROCEEDINGS FOR THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE

I. CALL TO ORDER
Vice Chair Peacock, called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m.
II. ROLL CALL
Cesar Hernandez, Oversight Board Staff, called the roll:
Present: Board Members Catherine Burroughs, Brian Haworth, James
Hazlett, Linda Payne, Dale Shaffer and Vice Chair Steven
Peacock
Absent: Board Member Scott Wiles
III. STAFF COMMUNICATIONS
This time is set aside for Successor Agency staff to update the Board on
important items initiated by staff or previously requested by the Oversight Board.
Vice Chair Peacock inquired about the replacement of the new City
Manager. Tracey L. Hause, Administrative Services Director, informed the
Oversight Board that Jon Penman is the current interim City Manager, and
that the City Council is currently in the selection process for a new City
Manager.
IV. ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS
1. Self-Introduction of newly appointed Oversight Board Member. (14-3372)
Vice Chair Peacock introduced new Board Members Shaffer and
Burroughs.

2. Election of Chair and/or Vice-Chair for the Oversight Board. (14-3373)
Vice Chair Peacock opened the floor for nominations for Chair. Board
Member Payne nominated Vice Chair Peacock. There were no other
nominations.
On motion of Board Member Payne, seconded by Board Member Haworth,
duly carried by the following vote, the Oversight Board appointed Vice Chair
Peacock as Chair of the Oversight Board of the Successor Agency to the
Temple City Redevelopment Agency:
Ayes: Board Member Burroughs, Board Member Haworth,
Board Member Hazlett, Board Member Payne, Board
Member Shaffer and Vice Chair Peacock

Chair Peacock opened the floor for nominations for Vice Chair. Chair
Peacock nominated Board Member Payne. There were no other
nominations
On motion of Chair Peacock, seconded by Board Member Hazlett, duly
carried by the following vote, the Oversight Board appointed Board Member
Payne as Vice Chair of the Oversight Board of the Successor Agency to the
Temple City Redevelopment Agency:

V. RECOMMENDATIONS
3. Recommendation: Adopt a resolution approving the Successor Agency
Administrative Budget for the period of July 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014.

Tracey L. Hause, Administrative Services Director, presented an overview
of the Staff Report informing the Oversight Board of the various costs
reflected on the Administrative Budget, and the funding source; and
responded to questions posed by the Oversight Board.
On motion of Board Member Payne, seconded by Board Member Hazlett,
duly carried by the following vote, the Oversight Board adopted Resolution
No. OB 2014-02 A Resolution of the Oversight Board for the Successor
Agency to the Temple City Community Redevelopment Agency Approving
an Administrative Budget for the Period of July 1, 2014 through December
31, 2014:
Ayes: Board Member Burroughs, Board Member Haworth,
Board Member Hazlett, Board Member Shaffer, Vice
Chair Payne and Chair Peacock

VI. DISCUSSION
4. Staff Report on the Quitclaim deed to transfer ownership of a parking lot parcel
from the Former Temple City community Redevelopment Agency to Temple City
Associates, as presented by the Administrative Services Director. (Receive and
File). (14-3374)
Tracey L. Hause, Administrative Services Director, presented an overview
of the Staff Report and informed that there was one property located in the
parking lot of a commercial center at the southwest corner of Las Tunas
Drive and Rosemead Boulevard which had been placed on the Long Range
Property Management Plan (LRPMP), but has now been removed. Ms.
Hause added that due to an administrative oversight, the property had not
been officially transferred to the appropriate owner, and has now been
transferred and removed from the LRPMP.
By Common Consent, there being no objection (Board Member Wiles being
absent), the Oversight Board received and filed the Staff Report.

VII. MISCELLANEOUS
5. Matters not on the posted agenda (to be presented and placed on the agenda of
a future meeting). (14-3369)
Tracey L. Hause, Administrative Services Director, informed the Oversight
Board that the Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule (ROPS) 14-15B is
due October 1, 2014 and the Oversight Board will need to have a meeting
before the due date.
By Common Consent, there being no objection (Board Member Wiles being
absent), the Oversight Board cancelled the meetings of August 4, 2014,
September 1, 2014 and scheduled a special meeting for September 22,
2014.
