A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
THE SAND SEPARATOR REPLACEMENT FOR WATER WELL NO. 9 PROJECT,
PROJECT NO: 4011.67.876, AS BEING COMPLETE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
ENGINEER TO PROCESS THE RECORDATION OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on February 2, 2010, the City Council awarded a contract to Don
Peterson Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $44,600; and
WHEREAS, the project construction started on March 18, 2010, and was
completed on June 30, 2010; and
WHEREAS, the project is funded by the Water Fund; and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost of the project is $44,600; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works conducted the final inspection on
June -30, 2010, and found that all work is complete in accordance with the project plans
and specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts the Sand
Separator Replacement for Water Well No. 9 Project, Project No. 4011.67.876, as
complete in accordance with the contract documents; and authorizes the City Engineer
to process the recordation of the Notice of Completion.
Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
