RESOLUTION NO. 14-8761
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA LOCKA,FLORIDA AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO PURCHASE SEVENTEEN (17)
HANDHELD RADIOS FOR THE OPA-LOCKA POLICE
DEPARTMENT; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION
OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
WHEREAS,the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to equip the Opa-locka
Police Department with seventeen(17) additional handheld radios; and
WHEREAS,the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to authorize the City
Manager to purchase seventeen (17) additional handheld radios for the Opa-locka Police
Department.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble hereby incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby authorizes the City
Manager to purchase seventeen(17)handheld radios for the Opa-locka Police Department.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption, subject to the
receipt and availability of grant funds to pay for the purchase of this technical equipment.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of February, 2014.
