RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ACCEPTANCE OF GIFT OF TANGIBLE PERSONAL
PROPERTY
WHEREAS: From time to time, this community pauses together, to offer comfort and
support to our friends, neighbors, loved ones and family members, who witnessed
profound loss; and,
WHEREAS: Stephen Akian and the family of the late Nazar Ohannesian wish to donate a
memorial bench to be placed in Linear Park; and,
WHEREAS: The memorial bench will be installed in Linear Park, nestled within the
community path located between Saltonstall and Moxley Park for all to enjoy.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Watertown City Council, hereby
accepts, pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 44, Section 53A1/2, this gift of
tangible personal property.
