AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE
TOWN OF GULF STREAM, FLORIDA, ADOPTING AND
INCORPORATING BY REFERENCE, THE PALM BEACH
COUNTY "WETLANDS PROTECTION ORDINANCE,"
ORDINANCE NO. 90-5, AS AMENDED; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF GULF
STREAM, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section
1. Chapter q
of the
Code of Ordinances of
the
Town of Gulf
Stream, Florida is
hereby
amended by adopting
and
incorporating into the Code, the Palm Beach County Wetlands
Protection Ordinance, Ordinance 90-5, as amended, and as fully as
if set forth at length herein as the Wetlands Protection Ordinance
of the Town of Gulf Stream.
section 2. Severability. If any provision of this
Ordinance or the application thereof is held invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect the other provisions or applications of
this Ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provisions or applications, and the provisions of this Ordinance
are hereby declared severable.
Section 3. Codification. This Ordinance shall be codified
and made a part of the Official Code of Ordinances of the Town of
Gulf Stream.
Section 9. Repeal of Conflicting Ordinances. All
ordinances or sections of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby declared repealed.
Section 5. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take
effect immediately upon its passage and approval, as provided by
law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED IN REGULAR, ADJOURNED SESSION ASSEMBLED ON
FIRST READING THIS 7th DAY OF January , 1991 AND ON SECOND
AND FINAL READING THIS 21st DAY OF J uar , 1991.
