7. On June 22, 2015, City Council conducted final interviews of commissioner
applicants for the Public Arts Commission. City Council appointed Katherine
Keelin and Lisa Kidd to the Public Arts Commission with a term of office ending
June 30, 2017.
ANALYSIS :
The appointees to each of the City Commissions (i.e., Planning, Transportation and
Public Safety, Parks and Recreation, and Public Arts) will serve a 2 years term with
seats expiring June 30, 2017. The resolution of appointments is presented for City
Council’s consideration and adoption. If appointed, the appointees will receive their
Oath of Office at the City Council Meeting of July 7, 2015. Appointments of the new
commissioners in July will ensure that the Commissions will be able to continue with
business as usual.
CONCLUSION:
The City Council is requested to adopt proposed Resolution No. 15-5101 appointing
John Cordes; Albert Leung; Helen Marston to the Planning Commission; Joanne
Rosso; Lance Baroldi and Steve Wen to the Parks and Recreation Commission; Jim
Clift, Nicholas Stratis and Douglas Blatt to the Transportation and Public Safety; and
Kathleen Keelin and Lisa Kidd to the Public Arts Commission with a term of office
ending June 30, 2017.
FISCAL IMPACT :
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2015-16 City Budget.

RESOLUTION NO. 15-5101
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY CONFIRMING APPOINTMENTS TO CITY COMMISSIONS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE
AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That John Cordes, Albert Leung, and Helen Marston is hereby appointed to the
Planning Commission of City of Temple City. Said term to expire on June 30, 2017;
SECTION 2. That Jim Clift, Nicholas Stratis, and Douglas Blatt is hereby appointed to the
Said term to expire on June 30, Transportation and Public Safety Commission of City of Temple City.

SECTION 3. That Kathleen Keelin and Lisa Kidd is hereby appointed to the Public Arts
Commission of City ofTemple City. Said term to expire on June 30, 2017;
SECTION 4. That Lance Baroldi, Joanne Rosso, and Steve Wen is hereby appointed to the
Transportation and Public Safety Commission of City of Temple City. Said term to expire on June 30,
2017;
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution.
