AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE
TOWN OF GULF STREAM, PALM BEACH COUNTY,
FLORIDA, RESCINDING SECTIONS 30-36 AND 30-37
OF CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
TOWN RELATING TO PARKING OF RECREATIONAL
EQUIPMENT OR COMMERCIAL VEHICLES; AMENDING
CHAPTER 66 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES RELATING
TO ZONING, AT ARTICLE VIII, SUPPLEMENTARY
DISTRICT REGULATIONS, DIVISION 5, PARKING,
SECTION 66-416, ITEM (a)(2) THEREOF, SO AS TO
PROVIDE RECREATIONAL EQUIPMENT OR COMMERCIAL
VEHICLES DESCRIBED IN ITEM G BE PARKED IN A
MANNER SO AS TO BE FULLY SCREENED FROM OFF
PREMISE VIEW; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF GULF
STREAM, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of the
Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, is hereby amended by rescinding in
their entirety Sections 30-36 and 30-37 thereof relating to the
parking of recreational equipment or commercial vehicles. The sole
purpose of rescinding said sections is that said sections are
adequately addressed in the Chapter 66 of the Code of Ordinances of
the Town of Gulf Stream, at Article VIII, Division 5, Section 66-
416, which is amended herein.
Section 2. Chapter 66 of the Code of Ordinances of the
Town of Gulf Stream Florida, is hereby amended at Article VIII,
"Supplementary District Regulations", Division 5, "Parking",
Section 66-416, "Parking of recreational equipment or commercial
vehicles - On property", at subparagraph (a)(2) to read as follows:
"(a)(2) The location for such parked equipment shall
be in the rear yard or in the side yard to the
rear of a line established by the front
building line adjacent to the side yard where
the equipment is located; provided, however,
that on corner lots such equipment shall not
be parked on the side yard which faces a
public street, and also provided that such
parked equipment shall be fully screened from
off premise view."
Section 3. Severability.
If any provision of this Ordinance or the application thereof
is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the other
provisions or applications of this Ordinance which can be given

effect without the invalid provisions or applications, and to this
end the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby declared severable.
Section 4. Repeal of Ordinances in Conflict.
All other ordinances of the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, or
parts thereof which conflict with this or any part of this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 5. Codification.
This Ordinance shall be codified and made a part of the
official Code of Ordinances of the Town of Gulf Stream.
Section 6. Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage
and approval, as provided by law.
