'A RESOLUTION OF~THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
' CITY OF LYNWOOD.REQU.ESTING THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF 'LOS ANGELES
TO PERMIT THE REGISTRAR OF VOTERS' OF SAID
COUNTY TO RENDER SPECIFIED SERVICES TO THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD, RELATING TO' THE CONDUCT ',
OF A GENE•RAL MU~N.ICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD
IN SAID CITY ON APRIL 11, 1972

WHEREAS, a Gene'ral Municipal E-leetion is to be held in
the City of Lynwood on April 11, 1972, and ,
WHEREAS, in t~he course of conduct ~of said election and

in relation the.reto it will be necessary to mail sample baliots
and polling place i~nserts to the registered voters of the City, a
,
it will facilitate such mailing if the Registrar of Voters bf the
County of Los Angeles will pr.epare-and furnish the Cit,y the
imprinting of the names and addresses of the registered voters
of said City on I B M polTing.place inserts furnished by ~the
City, and after bursting the forms wsll insert the polling place
insert and sample ballot ?into. envelopes., all to be furnished,by
the City, will pTace all envelopes -in zip-coded mai'1 bags, adv'ise°
City Clerk of the number of pieces t.o be mailed, prepare POD
Form 3602, "Statement of Mailing Matter with Permit Imprints,"
and advise the City Clerk when work is completed so delivery ean

WHEREAS, all necessary experise in performing this
service shaTl be paid by the City of Lynwood,.
NOW.,. THEREFORE, the City Council of 'the City of Lyriwood

does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows
Section 1 That: pursuant to~the provisions of Section
22003 of the Elections Code of the •State of Califorrii~a, this City
