WHEREAS, pursuant to the recommendation of the Cit,y
Manager of the City of Lynwood, this City Council has previous7.y
found that a certain prerni_ses, here~_nafter mo.re ful.l~T des.cr.ibed,
may be presently being mai_ntained in such a manner as to
constitute a nu~.sance,
WHEREA~, in light of said f'ir~ding, this Council adopte~
`a resolution declaring its in.tention to conduct a public hearing
to ascertain tivhether a nuisance is being maintained on said
property, and '

WHEREAS, this Council has held a hearing and has
I~ heard and cons~_dEred all_ relevant evidence arid _t.e.stimony from
all interested persons desiring to be heard concerning the
conditions consti.tuting the alleged nui_sance and the proposed
rehabili~ation, repair, removal, or demolition thereof,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of ~he City of Lynwood
does hereby find, determine, ord_er and resolve as follows.
Section l. The property described ~.s Lot 8, Bzc~ck B,
Tract No. 96U1 / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / /
and generally known as 11354 Duncan Avenue, Lynwood, California,
is hereby found and declared to be a public nuisance as defined
in Section ?_2-A 2 of the LynVaood CiLy Code.
Section 2 The pa.rticular conditions of said property

2 Section 3 It is further found and determined that,
3 in order to abate said nuisance, i.t will b.e necessary that the
4 following steps be taken
5 a. Removal of enumerated items from property

8 S~ection 4 The owner of said property, Clarence
9 Barnwall is ordered and directed to take said
10 steps and to abate said nuisance
11 Section 5 If the property owner fails to take the
12 steps as provided~in this resolution within thirty (30) days
13 after the date this resolution is posted u~on the property, ~he
14 City of Lynwood shall immediateiy cause the same to be abated by
15 C1ty personnel or privat~ contract and such'personnel or persons
16 under contracL are expressly authorized to enter upon the
17 premises for such purposes
IS Sectior~ 6 In the event the City of Lynwood causes
19 the aforementioned nuisance to be abated by City personnel or
2Q private contract, the ouTner of the premises shall be liable to
21 said City for all costs of such abatement, including all adminis-
22 trative costs A11 said costs shall con~itute a special assess-
23 ment against the subject property
2~4 . Section 7 The City Clerk is authorized and directed
~5 to post conspicuously at least one copy of this resolution on the
26 subject property and to send another copy of this resolution by
27 registered or certified mail, postage prepaid, re~urn receipt
2$ requested, to the owner of the land as his;name and address
29 appea~ on the ].ast equalized assessment roll or is known to the
30 City Clerk
31 The failure of any owner or other person to receive
32 such .notice shall not affect in any manner the validity of any
