' A RESOLUTIOTI OF T'HE CITY- COUNCIL OF THE CITY
• OF LYN'v7O0D :DETERMINING THAT A NUISANCE 1S -
BEING MAITITAINED ON CERTAIN UROPERTY ti~aITHIN
SAID CITY AND DIRECTING THE ABATEMENT - -
THEREOF
.WHEREAS, pursuant to the recommendation of the City
P~Zanager of the City. of Lynwood, this City Council has previously
found that a certain premises, hereinafter more fully described.,
may be presently being maintained in such a manner as to

constitute a nuisance;
WHEREAS, in' light,of said finding; this Council adopted
a resolution declaring its intention to conduct a public hearing
to ascertain whether a nuisance is. being maintained on said.
property; and.
WHEREAS, this Council has held a hearing a:nd has
heard and considered all relevant eviderice.•and testimony from
all interested persons desiring to be heard concerning the
conditions constituting the ,al7_eged nuisance and the proposed
rehabilitation, repair., removal, or demolition thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. The property described as Northeast 70 feet
of .southeast 150 feet of Lot 66, Tract 1Ob34,
and generally known as 11221 Wright Road, Lynwood,,California,
is hereby found and declared to be a public nuisance as defined
in Section 22-A:2 of the Lyn~vood City Code.
Section 2. The particular .conditions of said property
which are hereby found and determined to constitute a.nuisance
are .described as follows:
a, Non-operative automobiles,
b, Junk.

Section 3.. It is further found and determined that,
in order to abate said nuisance, it wi"Il be necessary that the
following steps betaken:
a• Removal of enurriberated items from the. property.

Vaughn ,is order. e.d .,and. dir.ect.ed to take. said
'steps and to abate said nuisance.
Section 5. If the property owner fails to take the
steps as provide d; in this resolution within thirty (30) days
after the date this resolution is posted upon the property, the
City of Lynwood shall immediately cause the~same to be abated by
City personnel or private contract and such•personriel or persons

under contract are expressly authorized to enter upon the
premises for _such. purpose.s~. _~~ _ _
Section 6. In the event .the City of Lynwood causes.
the.a.forementioned nuisance to be abated by City personnel or
private contract, the owner of the premises shall be liable to
said City for ,all costs of such abatement, including all adminis-~~'.
trative costs. A.11 said costs shall con~tute a special assess-
ment against the subject property.
Section 7.~ The. City Clerk is authorized and directed
to post conspicuously .at least one copy of this resolution on the
subject property and to send another copy of this resolution by
registered or certified mail, postage prepaid, return receipt
requested, to the owner of the land as his name and address
appear on the last equalized assessment roll or is known to the
City Clerk. ~ .
The failure of any owner or other person to receive
such notice shall not affect in any manner the validity-of any

proceedings taken hereunder.
