MINUTES

1. CALL TO ORDER:
Pursuant to the Agenda posted on April 1, 1988, Chairman Gil -
landers called the meeting of the Temple City Redevelopment
Agency to order at 8:45 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL:
Present: Members - Atkins, Froehle, Swain, Gillanders
Absent: Members - Dennis
Also Present: Executive Director Koski, General Counsel Martin
and Assistant Executive Director Dawson
Mr. Atkins moved to excuse Mr. Dennis with cause, seconded by Mrs.
Swain and unanimously carried.
3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
On motion by Mr. Atkins, seconded by Mrs. Swain the Minutes of the
March 15, 1988 regular meeting were approved as written with
Chairman Gillanders abstaining.
4. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: None
5. NEW BUSINESS:
A. PARKING LOT LEASE AGREEMENT - CRA /CITY OF TEMPLE CITY RENTAL
AGREEMENT -
Executive Director Koski advised staff that in accordance with
Lease Agreement the City is obligated to pay $153,677.50 to
the Agency for the rental period of April 15, 1988 to October
15, 1988. The amount due April 15, 1988 will be satisfied by
reason of:
a) Surplus funds available in Revenue and Bond Service
funds held by the Fiscal Agent in the amount of
$1,622.00.
b) Reimbursement payment by the Agency in the amount of
$152,055.50, pursuant to Section 202 of the Reimburse-
ment Agreement between the Agency and City dated
December 3, 1974.
Mr. Atkins moved to approve the payment in accordance with the
Parking Lot Lease Agreement between the CRA /City of Temple
City, seconded by Mrs. Swain and unanimously carried.
B. RESOLUTION NO. CRA 327: APPROVAL OF PAYMENT OF. BILLS
Mrs. Swain moved to adopt Resolution No. CRA 327 allowing
claims and demands in the amount of $173,771.75 seconded by
Mr. Atkins and unanimously carried.

6. COMMUNICATIONS:
A. CONCERNED RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION: LETTER REQUESTING STUDY
SESSION
Executive Director Koski stated a letter from the Concerned
Residents Association was received at City Hall on April 4,
1988 requesting placement on the agenda for the City Council
meeting on April 5th to request a study session and full dis-
cussion of the progress regarding the Redevelopment of Block A
and the items requested at the March 1, 1988 City Council
meeting. This letter was not received in time for placement on
the Agenda.
William Bretz, 5116 Myrtus Avenue, stated he realized the
letter was received late, however would like to request the
study session.
Mrs. Swain moved to designate Monday, April 25, 1988, 7:30 p.m.
in the Community Room, a study session with the Concerned
Residents Association which would be open to the public, sec-
onded by Mr. Froehle and unanimously carried.
7. MATTERS FROM AGENCY MEMBERS:
None
8. ADJOURNMENT:
On motion by Mr. Atkins, seconded by Mrs. Swain the meeting ad-
journed at 8:47 p.m. The next regular meeting of the Temple City
Redevelopment Agency will be held Tuesday, April 19, 1988.
