RESOLUTION NO. 95-06
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT OF MEDINA ROAD
FROM BROCKTON LANE TO HOLY NAME DRIVE; ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
REGARDING SAME
WHEREAS, by previous council action, a date was set for a public hearing on
the proposed improvement of Medina Road between Brockton Lane and Holy Name
Drive by placement of stabilization fabric, drain tile and 12 inches of gravel base and
4-1/2 inches of bituminous surfacing 24 feet in width and six-foot gravel shoulder;
and
WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the
hearing was given and the hearing was held on March 7, 1995, at which time all
persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Medina, Minnesota as follows:
1. The improvement, as described above, is hereby ordered.
2. Bonestroo Rosene Anderlik & Associates is hereby designated as the
engineer for this improvement and shall prepare plans and specifications
for the making of such improvement.
3. It is the judgment of the city council that the proposed improvement has
no relationship to the city's comprehensive plan.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
James Johnson
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
John Ferris, Johnson, Thies and Mayor Anne Theis.
and the following voted against same: None.
Absent: Philip Zietlow.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

charged if the entire assessment is paid prior to November 30, 1995;
and the owner may, at any time thereafter, pay to the city clerk -
treasurer the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with
interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which such payment is
made. Such payment must be made before November 15 or interest will
be charged through December 31 of the next succeeding year.
4. The city clerk -treasurer is authorized and directed to transmit a
certified copy of this assessment to the county auditor to be extended
on the property tax lists of the county. Such assessments shall be
collected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes.
