CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 95-08
RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT TO THE PROPOSED
USE OF YEAR 19 AND YEAR 20 URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City of Medina is a participant in the Urban Hennepin County
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program through a joint cooperation
agreement with Hennepin County; and
WHEREAS, the City of Medina and Hennepin County have executed Year XIX and
Year XX Subrecipient Agreements, wherein the City agrees to assume certain
responsibilities for the implementation of approved community development
activities in the Urban Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant
Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Medina held a public hearing on
March 7, 1995 to consider public comments on the proposed amendment to the Year
19 and Year 20 Urban Hennepin County Statement of Projected Use of Funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Medina amends the Urban
Hennepin County Statement of Projected Use of Funds by reallocating $7,201 in
Year 19 CDBG funds, Project No. 86, Handicapped Accessibility --Lakeshore Park,
and $14, 002 in Year 20 funds, Project 85, Hamel Sewer Infiltration Study, for the
removal of architectural barriers at the Medina city hall which restrict the
mobility and accessibility of elderly or disabled persons.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Ann Thies and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Ferris, James Johnson, Thies and Mayor Anne Theis.
and the following voted against: None.
and the following were absent: Philip Zietlow.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted this 7th day
of March , 1995.
