April 6th 1942.
Council met in regular session at 11:00 A.M.to finish their work
for the year;
Mayor Ross presiding;, and all. councilmen present; -
Minutes of last meetinrrs were read and approved.
Kruse
Motion made by Okmxes second by Okones, that the Town display
the Flag every day on the Flag pole during the Duration of War.
Motion carried.
It was moved by Okones second by Geo Lindaman, that the Town
purchase a new Flag- motion carried..
A report.from the State Dept of Health, showing; the water to
be O.K. was received, read and. placed on file.
The following bills were read, and on mot9_on
by Lindaman be allowedas read- motion carried.

Newly elected council met at 12:00 noon.
Mayor Elect C W Ross, -having been sworn proceeded to
administer the 1JJY oath of office to the fol.lvtng elected
^ouncilmen- W Haack- H P Kruse- Geo Lindaman, H L Luwe and
The Council organized as abody and proceeded to elect a
Town Clerk -
On m6tion of the majority of the council the rules
were suspended, and G H Geerdes was elected unamiously
for Town Clerk.
It was moved by Okones second by Luwe that the Combined
salary of the I:Ia.rshalls be set at �?100.0�` per month. carried..
It was moved. that council adjourn to 7:30 P M

It was moved by Kruse second. by Haack that Mayor Rose,
H C Haack and H.L.Luwe be appointed. Park Committee.
Treasurers report was received, read and placed on file.
On I.Iotion Herman Eekhoff was appointed Weed Commissioner.
Eugene Huismans representing the Beer Parlors appeared before
the council, and asked that they extend the time of closeing
hour by one hour.
It was moved by Haack second by Kruse that the Beer pprlors
be given permission tmxxx1J:xhxxx , by extending the time
of selling beer an extra half hour- Motion carried.
There beinfi, no other business council adjourned.

No report from the Health Physician_ was filed..
On 1111otion by LuT.^e second by Okones, that we adopt all the
Rules and Regulations of the State Board of Health, and be
governed thereby- Motion Carried.
There being no further business, meeting adjourned.

Council convendd as A Board. of Review.
It was moved that Leo Lindaman be chairman, and Neil Okones
Secy of the meeting.
Assessor R W Ross's books were canvassed , reviewed and
considered. and the following changes made in assessments -
Emil Bra.ndes- Rp.ised from $ 940.00 to 1600.00
( T:Irs 1Vm Stoehr-) Moneys & Credits, assessed 310,500 .00
( Executor )
In order to complete the canvass it was moved to adjourn to
April 7th at 7;30 P M. motion carried.

Board of review met in adjourned. session and completed the
canvass, and review of the AssessorQs boo'_,.s
No further changes were made, it was moved by Haa ck
second by Kruse that the Assessors books be accepted.

It was moved that adjournment be taken until Tuesday eve
April 14th at 7:30 to hear objections to change in
asses ments.
