A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COMMISSION FOR THE TOWN
OF GULF STREAM, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTH-
ORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO PROCEED WITH DRAINAGE
FACILITIES INSTALLATIONS AND RESURFACING OF ROADS
AND RIGHTS -OF -WAYS AFFECTED THEREBY.
WHEREAS, the Town Commission of the Town of Gulf Stream,
did, on the thirteenth (13th) day of April, 1973, by adoption of
Resolution No. 4-73, determine to provide for the installations
of certain DRAINAGE FACILITIES and RESURFACING of Public Rights -
Of -Ways which will become affected thereby, all being within the
following described area:
That part of Gulf Stream Road commencing at a
Point 300 feet south of Banyan Road and extending
northerly therefrom to Old School Road; that por-
tion of Banyan Road from Gulf Stream Road extend-
ing easterly to Oleander Way; and that part of
said Oleander Way extending northerly from Banyan
Road for a distance of 100 feet.
WHEREAS, the Resolution providing therefor has been duly
posted on the Bulletin Board at the Town Hall in Gulf Stream for
at least two weeks and a copy thereof mailed to the owners of
each lot or parcel of land abutting on the rights -of -ways as set
forth and described hereinabove, and, per Resolution No. 11-73
adopted by the Commission while in regular session on July 13th,
provided that the Town Commission would sit in the Town Hall in
the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, at 9:00 o'clock A.M., on Friday,
August 10, 1973, for the purpose of hearing objections, if any,
on said proposed improvements set forth herein, and determined basis
for the sharing of the total cost of the DRAINAGE INSTALLATIONS
INCLUDING ALL PHASES OF WORK RELATED THERETO BETWEEN THE TOWN OF
GULF STREAM, FLORIDA, WITH THE OWNERS OF THE PROPERTIES benefit-
ting thereby, on a basis of the Town paying fifty (50) percent of
said total cost thereof and the owners of the abutting properties,
benefitting from such Drainage Facilities improvement, and shown
below, paying fifty (50) percent of said total cost for DRAINAGE
INSTALLATIONS by Special Assessment;

It being further understood and agreed that the Town of Gulf Stream
shall absorb the total cost of RESURFACING (Paving) of all Roads in-
volved in this Improvement within the "Area" described herein.

WHEREAS, no sufficient objections have been made to such
proposed improvements:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Commission of
the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, that the Town Manager be and he
is hereby instructed to proceed with the DRAINAGE FACILITIES IN-
STALLATIONS and the ROAD RESURFACING Improvements hereinabove des-
cribed and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereto-
fore filed with the Town Clerk in the Town Hall and which have re-
mained open for inspection by any and all interested parties.
