RESOLUTION N0.~72-22
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING TO ASCERTAIN
WHETHER A NUISANCE IS BEING MAINTAINED .
ON CE RTAIN REAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of.Lynwood
has recommended that this-City Council find that a cer-
tain premises within the City of Lynwood may be maintained
in such a way as to constitute a nuisance, and,
WHEREAS, certain procedures are set forth in
Chapter 22-A of the City Code of the City of Lynwood,
pursuant to which„nuisances may. be abated,
NOW, THEREFORE., THE CITY. COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. Based upon the aforesaid recommendation of the
City Manager, this Council hereby finds and determines
that the following described property may be presently
being maintained in such a. manner as to constitute.a nuisance.
Said property is described as the South 137.5' of Lot 22,
Block 13, Bell Vernon Acres Tract, and is generally known as
3179 Euclid Avenue, Lynwood, California.
2. The conditions of said..property which may
-- •-- constitute a nuisance are described as follows: .
ingress and
a) Property opened to/egress and being-
vandalized.
b) Lack of maintenance..
c) Trash ..and weedsv
3. The method or methods by which said conditions
could be abated include:
Complete rehabilitation.
4.~ This Council therefore declares its intention
to conduct a public hearing pursuant to Chapter 22-A. of
the City Code of the City-of Lynwood to ascertain whether
the above-described conditions constitute a,public nuisance,
the abatement of which is appropriate under the police
power of the City of Lynwood.
5. The City Clerk.is authorized and directed to fix
the time and place for said public hearing and to. serve and.,
post. certified copies of this Resolution in the manner set
forth in Section 22-A.4 of the Lynwood City Code.
