A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO CONDUCT A. PUBLIC HEARING TO ASCERTAIN
WHETHER A NUISANCE IS BEING MP,INTATNED
ON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Lynwood
has recommended-that this City Council find that a cer-.
tain premises within the City of Lynwood may be maintained
in such a way as to constitute a nuisance; and;
WHEREAS, certain procedures are set forth in
Chapter 22-A of.the City Code of the City of Lynwood,
pursuant to which nuisances may be abated,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF T-HE CITY OF
L`YNWOOD DOES HEREBY RESOL~IE AS FOLLOWS':
1~, Based upon the aforesaid recommendation of the
City Manager, this Council hereby finds and determines.
that the following described property may be presently
being maintained in such a manner as to constitute a nuisance,
Said property is described as Lot 1310 of Tract 3335, and
is generally known as 3681 Fernwood•Avenue, Lynwood, California.
2. The conditions of said property which may
constitute a nuisance are described as follows:
ingress and
- - - a) .Vacant and open to/egress of vandals.
b) Lack of maintenance.
c) Trash and weeds
3. The method or methods by, which said conditions
could be abated include:
Complete rehabilitation
4. This Council therefore declares its intention
to conduct a public hearing pursuant to Chapter 22-A of
the City Code of the City of Lynwood to ascertain whether
the above-described conditions constitute:a public nuisance,
the abatement of which is appropriate under the police
power of the City of Lynwood
5. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to fix
the time and place for said public hearing and to serve and
post certified copies of this Resolution iri the manger set.
forth in Section 22-A.4 of the Lynwood City Code. •
