RESOLUTION NO. 14-8777
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE
CITY MANAGER TO CEASE EMPLOYEE FURLOUGH
DAYS, EFFECTIVE AS OF APRIL 1, 2014; PROVIDING
FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires the City Manager to
cease employee furloughs; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to authorize and direct the City Manager to
cease employee furlough days, effective as of April 1, 2014.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble are hereby incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, hereby authorizes and
directs the City Manager to cease employee furlough days, effective as of April 1, 2014.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26`h day of March, 2014.
