A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF GULFSTREAM, FLORIDA,
ASSESSING AN ADDITIONAL METER CHARGE ON THE
JUNE BILLING IN THE AMOUNT OF TWENTY DOLLARS
($20.00) PER METER IN ORDER TO ALLOW THE TOWN
WATER DEPARTMENT TO RECOUP UNEXPECTED EMERGENCY
COSTS FOR OBTAINING WATER FOR RESIDENTS OF THE
TOWN OF GULFSTREAM FROM THE TOWN OF DELRAY BEACH.
WHEREAS, the Water Department of the Town of Gulfstream,
Florida, has incurred costs in the approximate amount of Five
Thousand, One Hundred Dollars ($5,100.00) due to an emergency
requirement to obtain water for residents of the Town of Gulfstream
from the Town of Delray Beach, and
WHEREAS, those additional costs are the responsibility of
those persons receiving water from the Town of Gulfstream Water
Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COMMISSION OF
THE TOWN OF GULFSTREAM, FLORIDA, THAT:
A charge of $20.00 be added to the standard charge per
each meter on the Town of Gulfstream Water Bpstem on the June
billing in order to compensate the Town for those additional costs
incurred as set forth herein.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 10th DAY OF June
1977.
