RESOLUTION N0. 72-~-I-O
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD.APPROVING THE DESTRUC-
TION OF CERTAIN CITY RECORDS BY. THE
CHIEF OF POLICE..
WHEREAS, in accordance with Government Code Section
34090, the City Attorney of the City of Lynwood has filed his
written consent to the destruction of the records, documents
and papers hereafter described;
BE IT RESOLVED:
1. The following city records, documents and papers
dated prior to January 1, 1967, are no longer required:
(a) Vehicle impound and storage reports
(b)
(c)
(d)
(e)
(f)
(g)
(h)
Traffic accident investigation reports
Crime reports
Miscellaneous injury, incident and inves-
tigation reports - -. ~ --
Emergency Aid Plan tickets
Traffic citations .
Bail receipts and court dockets
Administrative documents of the Police
Department: .officers' daily work sheets,
overtime and court slips, and miscel-
laneous correspondence
2. The City Council finds-that the City Attorney
has given his written consent to the destruction of the records
described in paragraph 1, and the Chief of Police ;..i:s authorized
to destroy the city records described in paragraph 1.
