RESOLUTION No. 72-51
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LYNWUOD INTENDING
TO OB.LTGATE ITS CALIFORN'IAPS FEDERAL
TOPICS APPORTIONMENT FOR 19"71-72
AND 1972-73 FISCAL YEARS.
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has received noti.ficatiox~
from Mr~. James A. Moe, State Director of Public Works, by letter]
to the Director. of Public Works, dated MarcYi 23, 1972, that
Federal TOPICS f~,~.rids have been apportioned to the City of Lynwood
in the amounts of. $20, 537.00 for. the 1971/72 fiscal year and
$20, 5370 00 for tree 1972/73 fisr.al year; and
WHEI-ZEAS, the City must e~eercise one of four options or
combinai:i.o.ns thereof with respect to the acceptance or rejection.. of
its TOPICS apportionrne.nt as c~ut'lined in Exhibit "A", attached, . prior
~...r_ to 60_day~~`f.'r~m Nlarc`h._23n- 1972, -and - _
NOW, THEREFORE, 'BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of
Lynwood. electe to expend the $41, 074, 00 of TOPICS funds. apportioned
to the City in each of the 1971 / 72 and 1972/ 73 fiscal years far both
(Option ;A) improvement projects and studies, and (Option, C) assign-
xnez~t of funds to other agencies.
