RESOLUTION OF THE. CITY COUN.C•IL OF THE C^ITY
OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING REPORT,
DECLARLNG ITS` INTENTION TO FORM. THE LYNWOOD
SfiRE~ET LIGHTING DISTRICT NO. 2, -AND- EI,XING
TIME AND PLACE .OF HEARING •PROTESTS ,TO
PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, 'by Resolution No. 72-36 4in the proceedings
for the formation of Ly.~nwood Street Lighting District No.. 2 of
the City of Lynwood, this City Council ordered a Report prepared
by the City Engineer under and pursuant to the provisions of the
Street Lighting Act of 1919; and `
WHEREAS, said City Engineer has prepared said Report
and filed the same with the City Clerk. of said City, and said
City Clerk has. presented said Report to this City Council for
consideration;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council~of the City of Lynwood,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
SECTTON_,1.~ That said Report be and the same is hereby"
approved, .and the City Clerk of the City is hereby directed to
endorse the fact and date of such approval on said Report and
to .file said Report in the office of said City Clerk.
SECTION 2, !That this City Council declares its
intention to form said Lynwood Street Lighting District No. 2.
,, SECTION 3. That June 20, 1972, at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
at the meeting place~of this City Council in the City Ha11,
11330 Bu11is Road, Lynwood, California, are hereby fixed as
the time and place of hearing protests and objections to the
improvements proposed in-said Report and to be made, the extent
of the assessment district proposed to be created, and/or to'
the proposed assessment.
SECTION 4. The said City Clerk ~sha,?,=~ caus.e a notice
of the passing of said Resolution .No. 7.2-5'5~~~' the filing
of sa-id Report, and'the setting of the time and-place `for hear-
ing protests to be posted conspicuously on all. the open streets
within the proposed assessment district in the time, form and

Manner required by law. The tiad City Clerk shall a.1so cause
to be published once a.T~eek for two successive weeks in THE
LYNWOOD PRESS, a newspaper of general circulation published
within the City,=,~on May 18, 1972, and Ma.y 25, 1972. The said
City Clerk sha11 ~1.so ma.i1, postage prepaid, notices of the
adoption of said resolution filing of said report
to all persons owning rea property proposed to be asses°sed
whose names a.nd addresses appear on the 1a.st equalized county
assessment roll or Ti~ho are known to the City Clerk Said
notices sha:11 be ma.i.led in the time, form. and manner required
by la_w.
