A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
OPPOSING PROPOSI'T'ION NO. 9
WHEREAS, Proposition No. 9 would cause severe economic
damage to California's economy, and
WHEREAS, it would adversely affect every individual in the
State, in terms of economic well-being, living conveniences and public
services, and
WFiEREA.S, its effect would set back the cause of intelligent
conservation and environmental improyexnent.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE A.S FOLLOWS
That the City Council is opposed to Proposition No, 9 as it will
now appear on the June, 1972 ballot, and urges citizens to vote against

PASSED, APPROVED A.ND ADOPTED this 23rd day of May, 1972.
