RESOLUTION NO. 14-8781
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE
CITY MANAGER TO POST "NO TRESPASSING" SIGNS
AND WORK WITH THE CITIZENS TO UTILIZE INGRAM
PARK FOR THEIR EVENTS, AS OPPOSED TO
WILMINGTON STREET LAKE; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires the City Manager to
post "No Trespassing" signs near Wilmington Street Lake, and to work with the citizens to
utilize Ingram Park for their events, as opposed to Wilmington Street Lake.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble are hereby incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, hereby authorizes and
directs the City Manager to post "No Trespassing" signs near Wilmington Street Lake, and to
work with the citizens to utilize Ingram Park for resident events, as opposed to Wilmington
Street Lake.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of March, 2014.
