Present and constituting a quorum were members Ms. Gwen Holden Kelly, Mr. James Jackson, Mr. Ralph Cuomo,Mr. Joshua Larson, Mr. Peter O'Meara, Mr. Joseph Cardito, Mr. John Laurino and Mr. Mark Carron(remotely). Mr. George Malloy was not present. Guests Alan McClennen, BOS Liaison Minutes Motion to approve the April 9,2015 minutes with corrections by Mr. Cardito and seconded by Mr. Jackson. The motion was approved unanimously with a verbal vote. Annual Town Meeting The charts in the Town Warrant did not transfer well and one of the charts will be spoken to at the Annual Town Meeting. The Committee will convene before Annual Town Meeting at 6:00 p.m. Article 32-Old Kings Highway: There are approximately 100 homes in the district. There has been little response regarding this article. Motion to approve article 32 by Mr.Larson and seconded by Mr. O'Meara. The motion was not approved by verbal vote, 0-8-0. Article 56 regarding donations from political parties to selectmen has no financial impact. Article 9 of Special Town meeting-driving on beaches: Motion to approve article 9 by Mr. Larson and seconded by Mr. Cardito.The motion was not approved by verbal vote, 0-8-0. The Committee chose to not take a new vote regarding the Nauset Estuary study. Review of Presentations Mr. Larson read his review of the Town and school budget. Chair Holden Kelly read her presentation of the CIP. 1 Mr. Larson read his presentation regarding wastewater. Chair Holden Kelly read Mr. Canon's presentation regarding the Police Station and her presentation regarding Nauset Spit. Mr. Cuomo read his presentation regarding Nauset Estuary. Mr. Cardito read his presentation of Article 8 of Special Town Meeting. Status Updates Renewable Energy: The landfill is producing power and the Town is waiting for permission to operate on the grid. Three proposals for the new solar system have been received. Snow Removal: The Town is waiting to hear from MEMA on what to expect for aid. Mr. Larson would like to invite Tom Bryan to speak regarding a proposal to make wastewater spending affordable and equitable for everyone. Motion to adjourn by Mr. Larson and seconded by Mr. Cuomo.
