Resolution No. 1-78
201 Facility Planning Project Grant Application
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of Moab City, Utah, at a
regular City Council meeting held on January 17, 1978, adopted the following
resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City of Moab, Utah desires to upgrade the Moab
Wastewater Treatment Facility, to comply with United States Environmental
Protection Agency requirements; and
and
WHEREAS, the need for a 201 Facility Planning Project is imminent;
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to designate the Mayor to act as
the authorized representative of the City of Moab to sign the grant
application, and authorize the Mayor to accept the grant offer and to
sign all other legal correspondence between the City of Moab and the
United States Environmental Protection Agency.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Mayor Harold A. Jacobs, City
of Moab is hereby authorized to act as the official city representative
to accomplish these tasks.
