_ ARESOI~UTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF PROPERTY NECESSARY '
-FOR THE WIDENING AND IMPROVEMENT OF LOltiG BEACH BOULEVARD.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has determined
that the widening and improvement of Long Beach Boulevard from_the northly
to the southerly boundaries of the' City is necessary for the convenience,
welfare, and safety of the public, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interests of the City
shall be served by the acquisition of property necessary for said widening, and
WHEREAS, the City has appropriated certain funds for this acquisition
and development, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received an Environmental Impact
Statement on the Long Beach Boulevard Project and have determined that no
significant envi~°onmental impact will occur in the completion of this project,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section le The following described property is necessary for the
w~ideriing of Long Beach Boulevard:
Lots 236, 237, 238, and 239 of Tract Noe 2551, in the City of
Lynwood, in the County of Los Angeles, State of California,
as per map recorded in Book 24 Pages 78, 79, and 80 of Maps,
in the office of the County Recorder of said County, _ . _
Section 20 That the purchase price for the above described property
has begin negotiated with Pacific Southwest Realty Company in the amount of
$95, OOOo
Section 30 „That the City Council authorize and direct City Staff to take
whatever steps necessary to accept this property in accordance with the terms
and conditions as set forth abovea
