CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 95-26
RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL APPROVAL TO DONALD
AND LINDA PEARSON AND MICHAEL SEELAND FOR A
LOT LINE REARRANGEMENT
WHEREAS, Donald E. Pearson and Linda C. Pearson (husband and wife) and Michael
Seeland (the "Applicants") have requested approval for a lot line rearrangement of their properties
located on Homestead Trail; and
WHEREAS, preliminary approval has previously been given for the proposed lot line
rearrangement; and
WHEREAS, the city council has reviewed the final survey for its compliance with city
ordinances and the terms and conditions of preliminary approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina,
Minnesota that final approval for the Applicants' lot line rearrangement is hereby granted, subject
to the following conditions:
1. The new legal description of the property owned by Applicants Donald E. Pearson
and Linda C. Pearson is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
2. The new legal description of the property owned by Applicant Michael Seeland
is attached hereto as Exhibit B.
3. Applicants Donald E. Pearson and Linda C. Pearson must provide drainage and
utility easements around the perimeter of the new Pearson property as required by
the city engineer; and
4. The Applicants must pay to the city an administrative fee in an amount necessary
to reimburse the city for its expenses in reviewing this application.

Enclosed are the changes we discussed pertaining to the legal descriptions attached to the City
Resolution No. 95-26.
I've been instructed by an individual in the Torrens department at Hennepin County that these
legals must match that of the surveyor, as they already have had the surveyor redo his legals to
match their requirements.
The changes are not too substantial. Except for a couple typographical errors, the changed
descriptions still describe the same property, but in a different manner, which was the
requirement of the Torrens department.
Can the exhibits to the Resolution simply be changed or will some action on behalf of the city be
required also? Please call me after the election when you have had a chance to look at this. I
appreciate your assistance.
